These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the LG Remote application ("the App") and the LG Remote website at lg-remote.com ("the Website"), operated by LG Remote ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App or visiting the Website, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using LG Remote, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App or Website.

2. Description of Service

LG Remote is a mobile application that allows users to control LG smart TVs running webOS from their iPhone over a WiFi network. The App provides remote control functionality including power management, volume control, navigation, app launching, and other TV control features.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use LG Remote. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms.

4. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes on devices that you own or control, subject to these Terms and Apple's App Store Terms of Service.

5. User Obligations

When using LG Remote, you agree to:

• Use the App only for its intended purpose of controlling LG TVs
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Not use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to networks or devices
• Only control devices that you own or have permission to control

6. Purchases and Subscriptions

LG Remote offers free features and optional premium features available through in-app purchases. All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and refund policies.

• Subscription features renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID settings
• Refund requests should be directed to Apple through their standard refund process

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App and Website — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, and software — are owned by LG Remote and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

LG, webOS, and related trademarks are the property of LG Electronics. LG Remote is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by LG Electronics.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

LG Remote is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

• The App will work with every LG TV model
• The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components
• The App will meet your specific requirements

WiFi-based remote control depends on your network conditions, TV compatibility, and other factors outside our control.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LG Remote shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or device damage.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LG Remote from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the App.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the App or Website. Your continued use of LG Remote after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
